Paul Meharg joined Sonatype in 2019 as a Sales Engineer and is now Director of Solution Architecture. With over 15 years of experience in solution architecture, he specializes in DevOps and software delivery automation, beginning his career in the field in 2007. Before Sonatype, Paul worked at IBM on the UrbanCode DevOps product suite, and previously held roles at Red Hat, Hewlett-Packard, and Texas Instruments. He focuses on deeply understanding customer needs to design tailored, effective solutions.  

Paul has worked with organizations across the U.S. and Canada in industries including finance, logistics, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and government. Across a 35+ year career in software, he has held roles spanning development, testing, sales engineering, consulting, and business development. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Texas State University.
