Todd Fitzgerald promotes CISO/CPO leadership via advising CISOs, advisory board participation, podcasts, and international speaking engagements. Todd authored 5 books, including #1 Best-selling (2019-2024) and 2020 CANON Cybersecurity Hall of Fame book, CISO COMPASS: Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers and #1 New Release (2024) The Privacy Leader Compass: A Comprehensive Roadmap for Building and Leading Practical Privacy Programs with Dr. Valerie Lyons. Todd founded the successful CISO STORIES leadership podcast and hosted the first 190 episodes. Named 2016–17 Chicago CISO of the Year, Todd’s senior leadership positions include CyberRisk Collaborative, Northern Trust, Grant Thornton International, Ltd, ManpowerGroup, Wellpoint/National Government Services, Zeneca/Syngenta, IMS Health and American Airlines. Todd earned MBA with highest honors from Oklahoma State University, Business Administration from UW-Lacrosse, and earned certifications of CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C, CGEIT, CRISC, PMP, ITILv3, HI TRUST, and ISO27000. Todd also serves as an adjunct professor teaching Cybersecurity Leadership and IT Risk Management courses for Northwestern University.
