Soo Yi is Senior Vice President and Security Director of Security  Governance and Compliance at PNC Bank supporting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to enhance the bank’s cybersecurity posture and that of its partners.

Soo is responsible for shaping and implementing policies that ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and the development of robust security frameworks across the organization.   Soo brings over two decades of experience in the technology and cybersecurity sectors, having led security operations, investigations and engineering at Verizon Communications, Aetna, Highmark Health, and Allegheny Health Network.

Soo earned a Master of Science in Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Cornell University.  She is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh (Class 36), and a graduate of the Young American Leaders Program (YALP) at Harvard Business School.  She holds several industry certifications, and beyond her professional responsibilities, Soo is deeply engaged in community service serving on non-profit boards focused on developing the next generation of leaders.
