I am Vidura, 7+ year AI ML industry and academia professional based in Sri Lanka. Outside of corporate delivery, I will continue to develop the global ecosystem of AI. Being the SL Chapter Leader in the AI SGE Chapter Sri Lanka, Senior AIML Engineer/Line Manager @Virtusa and MSc in AI and Data Science Researcher I take an active role in promoting knowledge sharing on security, governance and ethical aspect of AI agents and applications and sustainability of the region. As an active researcher and a passionate educator, I have carried out more than 50 different AI projects, organized 61 technical workshops, and I have also mentored over 400 people with the success rate of 90% and, thus, cross-functional cooperation is one of the priorities of my creating the next generation of the AI talent.
