Ms. Praveen Sharma is an executive with over two decades of experience operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, data, AI, and emerging technologies, within highly regulated global industries and organizations dedicated to national-scale security and mission-critical innovation.

She has held senior leadership roles at organizations including Xerox, Insulet Corporation, Philips Healthcare, BD (Becton Dickinson), and Cubic Transportation Systems, where she owned – built, and scaled – enterprise product security programs, critical infrastructure protection capabilities, AI and data governance frameworks, and internally developed AI tools and technologies. Her work has consistently focused on securing products while strengthening organizational resilience and earning customer trust.

Ms. Sharma’s leadership is distinguished by deep technical grounding. Earlier in her career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, MITRE, and Raytheon she designed and developed software systems, large-scale data platforms, and advanced AI algorithms well before artificial intelligence became a widely recognized strategic imperative. One of her AI innovations has since transitioned into the startup ecosystem, reflecting both research rigor and practical impact.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Ms. Sharma contributes to the broader technology community by volunteering within the MIT CIO network, collaborating with academic institutions including MIT Sloan, and serving as a technology innovation advisor to nonprofit organizations such as Hanscom Federal Credit Union.
