William H. Guenther

William H. Guenther is Executive Chairman and founding organizer (2011) of the Advanced Cyber Security Center (ACSC), a member-led nonprofit that has driven a decade and a half of practical cybersecurity, and more recently, AI risk and security advances for its members through trusted executive collaboration. Supported by a distinguished group of national AI experts, senior cybersecurity, risk and legal advisors, ACSC provides members with early access to emerging strategies and tools for secure AI adoption and cyber resilience. CISOs, CIOs, risk and legal executives uniquely convene together in a candid, NDA-protected environment where they openly share implementation experience, lessons learned, strategies and tools. Anonymized insights shape board and senior management-ready frameworks, technology assessments and practical toolkits that strengthen AI governance, cyber resilience, and third-party risk management. As ACSC's content strategist and executive facilitator, Guenther leads the Center's mission to translate trusted peer collaboration into measurable organizational impact. Author of ACSC's two earlier "Leveraging Board Governance" reports, he organized and leads ACSC's new partnership with L.E.K. Consulting to develop an AI Vendor Assessment Toolkit designed to become an industry benchmark for third-party AI risk governance.
