Sam Guyer

Sam Guyer is a lead architect at Veracode focusing on the static analysis and AI products. He completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in computer science from University of Texas at Austin with a dissertation focusing on novel techniques for whole-program static analysis. After his graduate work he took a faculty position at Tufts University in the computer science department and did teaching and research for 17 years. During that time he worked with Veracode in its early startup days and helped design and build the core capabilities of the Veracode SAST engine. He continued to work with Veracode as a consultant until he left Tufts in 2022 to join Veracode full-time as an architect.
