With over a decade of experience at Ping Identity, Todd Barrett has established himself as a trusted advisor in identity and access management solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Sales Engineer, he plays a pivotal role in designing and explaining secure, standards-based solutions for the world's largest enterprise clients—focused on risk-based adaptive authentication, orchestration, dynamic fine-grained authorization, and identity verification. Known for his ability to make the complex easy to understand, he serves not only as a technical lead during the sales cycle but also as a long-term advisor and support gateway for customers.

Prior to joining Ping Identity, he spent over 20 years with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control in roles spanning IT management, software development, environmental data systems, and public outreach. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina—and a background as a trumpet player, Eagle Scout, a night club DJ, and even a pole vaulter—he brings a uniquely well-rounded and disciplined approach to both technology and teamwork.
