Ivy Chin is an executive advisor, leadership coach, and independent director with more than three decades of experience leading business and technology transformation across Fortune 200, private equity-backed, and family-owned organizations. A former Fortune 200 Chief Digital and Technology Officer, she brings a distinctive perspective shaped by leading at the intersection of cybersecurity, technology, business strategy, and board accountability.

Throughout her executive career, CISOs and security leaders reported directly to Ivy. She has launched cybersecurity programs, secured executive investment and resources, and supported leadership teams through significant security incidents. She has also worked with boards on cybersecurity oversight, including establishing cybersecurity programs and hiring CISO leadership.

Ivy is particularly passionate about helping cybersecurity leaders translate technical risk into business decisions, build alignment with the C-suite and board, and influence stakeholders through the language of risk, economics, and business outcomes.

Today, through Maxurpo, Ivy advises and coaches CIOs, CISOs, Deputy CISOs, and other senior technology leaders. Her coaching spans cybersecurity, AI, infrastructure, applications, data, and enterprise transformation, giving her a broad enterprise perspective on the challenges technology and security leaders face beyond their functional organizations.

Ivy is a Gestalt Professional Certified Coach and NACD Board Certified Director. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University and has completed business-focused executive education courses through Wharton, HEC Paris, and UNC Kenan-Flagler. She has been recognized with multiple CIO of the Year honors, named among the Global Top CDO 100 and Top 50 Women in Technology, and received numerous industry accolades.
