John Bonk is a cybersecurity leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning IT, security operations, and public sector. He currently serves as a Sales Engineer at SpyCloud, where he works with enterprise organizations to reduce identity-based risk, combat account takeover, and operationalize threat intelligence across security and fraud teams. Prior to SpyCloud, John held leadership roles including Director of Sales Engineering and Head of Go To Market, building and scaling technical teams, partnering closely with executive stakeholders, and helping drive record-setting revenue growth. He has led strategic initiatives ranging from complex enterprise deal support to long-term regulatory and federal market pursuits, consistently bridging the gap between technical depth and business outcomes. John holds a Bachelor of Science in IT, earned his MBA in 2025, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity at National University. He is also an active leader in the Pros vs Joes cybersecurity community, where he supports hands-on defensive training and operational readiness.
