Peter Beasley is a pioneer and seasoned business executive. Mr. Beasley co-founded BUiLT in September 2020, after co-founding Blacks in Technology International in March 2020 —both nonprofits working to increase the representation of Black people in tech. Peter served on technology nonprofit boards including DFW Texchange, IT Service Management Forum, and as the first Black director for the prestigious Society of Information Management (SIM) Dallas. As the first and only Black recipient of the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, Mr. Beasley founded and led the Richardson, Texas, software venture, Netwatch Solutions, a grant donor to the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas. Previously, Mr. Beasley advanced as an electrical engineer into senior IT leadership at Dallas-based enterprises, including Mobil Exploration, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Excel Telecommunications, and Software Spectrum. In all his leadership positions, Peter demonstrates his creativity and passion for inclusion and fair play.
