Taryn Swietek is an award-winning cybersecurity and risk executive with more than 20 years of experience protecting multi-billion-dollar operations at global organizations including Google, Deloitte, and Citigroup. Most recently Head of Governance at Google gTech, she now leads Swytek LLC and serves as Expert Faculty at IANS Research.

Taryn advises C-suite executives and boards on emerging technology threats, AI risk, and enterprise risk posture. She is known for building security strategies and risk frameworks that support business objectives instead of slowing them down. Her leadership is grounded in empathy and empowerment. She has built and mentored high-performing teams and created cultures where security is everyone’s responsibility.

She is equally committed to the future of the profession. She serves on the Keiser University advisory board and as Communications Director for InfraGard Jacksonville. Taryn holds the CISSP, CISM, and CEH certifications.
