Jen García is the founder of Ingrained.ai and advises and teaches AI programs at Caltech's Center for Technology and Management Education, bringing to AI fluency an engineer's discipline and an educator's understanding of how people learn. Her trainings cover prompt injection, deepfake and phishing awareness, AI-enabled social engineering, data privacy, and AI agent risks. After 16 years teaching English, she entered tech at 40 and is now an emerging engineer: a Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate and an Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) through the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Through her nonprofit Employ California she designed courses preparing Los Angeles County employees for promotional exams, and at LA-Tech.org she built AI training for young people entering tech careers. She serves on Cal State Fullerton's Passages to the Future Advisory Board and hosts this month's MIT AI Research Slam.
