Chris Martel is a cybersecurity Sales Engineer at Horizon3.ai, where he helps organizations proactively identify and remediate security gaps through continuous security validation. Prior to this, he held Sales Engineering roles at Check Point Software Technologies and ExtraHop Networks, building deep expertise across network security, threat detection, and performance visibility.  Born and raised in South Florida, Chris earned his degree from Florida International University and also serves as an adjunct professor at Miami Dade College, where he teaches and mentors the next generation of IT and cybersecurity professionals. He is passionate about helping organizations translate complex security challenges into practical, actionable solutions and contributes to the community by building hands-on cybersecurity challenges and speaking on modern approaches to improving security resilience.
