Dwayne has been software development adjacent careers since 2010. Now Dwayne is a CyberSecurity Design Review Supervisor and President of Blacks in Tech Portland.

Any career advice BiT PDX and Dwayne have come hard earned. He's proud of the 2 women helped hire in 2 months as a senior engineer. As a supervisor, Dwayne's team has included 4 men and 1 woman.  Generation X, Millenials, and Baby boomers have thrived on Dwayne's teams. Two team members are 1st  and 2nd generation immigrant Americans. One team member is based in Texas. We serve over 60 agencies in our NW state.

He hopes due to practices he'll help set up, the newer hires will never know working 2x as hard for a promotion.
