Juan Garcia

SA Garcia has been employed as a Special Agent for approximately 22 years and has been assigned to the FBI Salt Lake City Field Office since 2015.  Prior assignments included approximately nine years at the Atlanta Field Office working JTTF, two years at FBIHQ Counter-Terrorism Division, and seven years as a Supervisory Special Agent overseeing the JTTF, WMD and HUMINT programs.  Since 2022, he has been assigned to work high priority Cyber investigations. For the last year he has also served as the InfraGard and Private Sector Coordinator.  Additional responsibilities include Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance coordinator, which require overseeing covert operations and implementing countermeasures against counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and cyber actors.  He is a certified FBI Instructor, Hazardous Evidence Response Team member, Drone Pilot, and Crisis Management Coordinator.  Prior to joining the FBI, SA Garcia was employed as a Systems Engineer in Silicon Valley, California.  He earned a Master of Engineering degree with focus on Electrical and Computers from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronical and Communications Engineering from Universidad de las Americas, Puebla, Mexico.
