Iulia Ion is a Senior Engineering Manager at Snowflake in Product Security where she leads anti-abuse and security infrastructure. Prior to joining Snowflake, she spent several years at Google, holding leadership roles in Confidential Computing and Cloud Security. Iulia began her career as a researcher and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. She is passionate about building secure, user-friendly products, fostering inclusive engineering cultures, and mentoring the next generation of technical leaders.
