Katherine Del Gesso is a cybersecurity executive, startup advisor, and former CISO with nearly two decades of experience helping high-growth companies build and scale security programs in highly regulated environments.  Most recently, she served as Chief Information Security Officer for the Americas at the world’s third-largest digital currency exchange, where she built the regional security organization from the ground up leading to rapid international expansion. Earlier in her career, Katherine led Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Credit Karma, helping guide the company from scrappy startup through IPO readiness.  Her background also includes security leadership roles at Meta, the U.S. Coast Guard, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Deloitte giving her a rare mix of enterprise, government, and startup perspective.  Today, Katherine partners with early-stage and growth companies as a strategic advisor and fractional security leader. She works closely with founders and executives to turn security and trust into real business advantages helping them win customers, attract investors, and scale with confidence.
