John Schieferle Uhlenbrock

John Schieferle Uhlenbrock is a strategic cybersecurity executive with more than two decades of experience leading global security operations and engineering programs across Fortune 100 enterprises, U.S. federal agencies, and international institutions. His career spans coordinating national-level incident responses for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, advising international and ministerial-level officials on cybersecurity strategy, and guiding organizations through complex, high-stakes challenges at the highest levels of government.

As Principal Advisor and Founder of Provisio Insights, John helps enterprises transform cybersecurity operations into resilient, measurable, and business-aligned capabilities. His work emphasizes pragmatic innovation, blending AI-driven analytics, graph-based reasoning, and human-centric process design to simplify complexity and strengthen digital resilience.

Previously, John led cybersecurity transformation initiatives at Fortrea, IBM, and General Dynamics, helping Fortune 100 enterprises and federal agencies modernize their SOCs, streamline vendor ecosystems, and align with MITRE ATT&CK-based operational frameworks. He is also the creator of the open-source TENSOR Framework, a next-generation model defining how humans and AI collaborate in cybersecurity investigations.

John holds a Master’s in Intelligence Studies and a Bachelor’s in Infrastructure Assurance, is a CISSP, and serves on multiple industry advisory boards, including Google Security Operations and Tenable. Fluent in English and German, he brings a global, humanity-first perspective to cybersecurity, one focused not only on protecting data but on advancing trust and collaboration across borders.
