Ali Arasteh is the Head of Canada - Mandiant Consulting. Ali has more than 20 years of experience helping organizations become more resilient to cyberattacks. Ali has worked in both technical and strategic capacities in security spanning silos and effectively engaging various technical, and business disciplines. Ali has led numerous security transformation and incident response engagements helping organizations with most complex security problems. Ali frequently helps Canadian organizations with responding to major security incidents by providing technical and strategic advice to executive leadership and boards of directors.

In his current role at Mandiant, Ali leads Mandiant consulting services in Canada that helps organizations investigate and respond to complex security incidents and enhance their capabilities in detecting, responding to and mitigating advanced threats. Ali has advised some of the largest organizations in Canada and frequently works with his client executives pre and post breach to achieve cyber resilience and mitigate the impact of cyberattacks.  

Prior to joining Mandiant, Ali held several security consulting and operational roles at Deloitte and BlackBerry. As a manager at Deloitte, Ali helped clients in public sector and financial services build, enhance and operate cyber security functions including SOC, cyber intelligence and incident response teams. Before joining Deloitte, Ali held several positions in cyber forensics, network security and CERT teams at BlackBerry.
