Andrea has over 15 years of experience as a cybersecurity professional in financial institutions (banks and credit unions), service industry, government, nonprofit, health care, education, and manufacturing. Andrea’s experience includes penetration testing, network vulnerability assessments, social engineering, wireless security, web application security assessments, and technical security assessments. She leads Plante Moran’s cybersecurity penetration testing team.

Andrea holds a Master of Science in information assurance from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Michigan. Andrea is an (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Security+ (CompTIA) certified.

Andrea is a former board member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ISC2 Greater Detroit Chapter and a member of Society for Information Management (SIM) Detroit Chapter, Women Security Alliance (WomSA), and Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT). She has presented on security related topics for multiple conferences and events.
