Bob leads IBM's security automation portfolio globally and has spent decades shaping IBM's overall security strategy, with leadership experience across product management, sales, pre-sales, product development, and business development. A frequent international speaker on the intersection of business and cybersecurity, risk management, hybrid cloud, and AI, he has published widely on these topics and holds a U.S. patent related to secure distributed computing software. Bob earned an MBA from Syracuse University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds CRISC, CDPSE, and Open FAIR certifications. He serves on the National Council for RIT's Golisano College of Computing and advises cybersecurity programs at several universities. Outside of work, he is an active musician in Austin, Texas, fronting groups across jazz, rock, funk, blues, and worship styles.
