Adam Birgenheier is a cybersecurity and technology leader with nearly two decades of experience leading teams, building partner ecosystems, and developing high-performing organizations. His career includes leadership roles across ThreatDown/Malwarebytes, WatchGuard Technologies, Zones, and Starbucks, spanning cybersecurity, technology, sales, partnerships, and operations. Across his career, Adam has contributed to more than $1 billion in technology and cybersecurity initiatives, giving him a broad view into how organizations navigate technology, risk, partnerships, and organizational change at scale.

Adam currently serves as President of the ISACA Mt. Rainier Chapter, where he works to strengthen the Pacific Northwest cybersecurity community through education, professional development, and collaboration across industry organizations. A lifelong learner, Adam continues to invest in the intersection of cybersecurity and leadership and will further that work through the University of Washington Foster School of Business Cybersecurity Leadership Program.

A longtime people leader and Spartan Krypteia, Adam’s leadership philosophy centers on trust, accountability, and empowering people to act. His work explores the intersection of cybersecurity, organizational culture, and human behavior—and the role trust plays in building resilient organizations
